About This Project

Water for Rivers was established by the New South Wales, Victorian and Commonwealth Governments to recover 282GL of water for the Snowy and Murray Rivers.

This three part documentary examines the success of the project through over forty interviews with key stakeholders throughout the region including Government Ministers, land owners and water industry representatives.

Through investment in water efficiency infrastructure projects, innovation and technology, and by acquisition of water entitlements, the project exceeded the target and our DVD celebrates the journey as part of a commemorative book and gala event.
