About This Project

Monash Museum of Modern Art (MUMA) and renowned Aboriginal artist, Hayley Millar-Baker (Gunditjmara), collaborated with Museums Victoria and students from Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) on a unique art project that we documented.

Exploring culture and Country under Hayley’s inspiring eye, the students created artworks that tell their stories – including highlighting their personal totem animal.

Fancy Films and Melbourne Indigenous Transition School have an ongoing partnership that includes video production, funding and awareness content for the school.
